Because I believe so strongly in the N2Fitness Online Personal Training format, I encourage most clients to try one of my N2Fitness OPT Programs. To take personal responsibility and accountability for your nutrition needs and activity level is vital in order to live the energetic and healthy life you are dreaming of!
However, I also believe that there are some people who, because of health, physical, or other issues, get their best results by working out personally with a trainer. In-person sessions add an element of motivation, accountability, and instruction that can be important for making progress and achieving goals.
There are many pro’s and con’s of working out directly with a trainer:
**In-person training is more expensive, and is therefore less cost-effective for the client.
**In-person training commits the client to a specific time and place for training, and is therefore less convenient for many people.
**In-person training can cause the client to become too dependent on the trainer for direction and motivation, and therefore mitigate any desired results–for example, if the trainer goes on vacation, the client can’t or won’t work out on his or her own.
**In-person training can encourage a higher level of accountability and adherence to a fitness/nutrition program.
**In-person training offers immediate feedback for issues of exercise form and intensity.
**In-person training can provide both the client and the trainer with more specific and timely information in order to enhance the client’s results.

I often do a combination of both Personal and Online Training with clients in order to create a comprehensive program for maximum effectiveness. This allows me to make real-time adjustments and additions to both their fitness and nutrition programs, fine-tuning the process and providing the best possible platform for total success!
